Highest point on the run, 17 June 2014This was the first of the 30 minute runs. Setting off without really thinking about it certainly helped. The fact that it was a bright summer evening with a light breeze also didn’t do any harm.

I felt pretty spritely all the way round. Up the long drag of Landport Bottom, turning right to go along the edge of the Chalk Pit, and then into the woods at the back. Round to Jill’s Pond and along the top to come out the other side of the hospital.  Beginning to wonder if I’m not soon going to have to push myself a bit more. Be nice to be able to get to the top of Mount Harry and back without finding it too difficult.

The photo was taken at the highest point on the run, with the shadows lengthening. It’s a far cry from Run #1 with it’s minute of running and 2 of walking. As long as the weather is always like this it’ll be a breeze to keep it up….
